About Emily
Hi, I’m Emily, a Memorial University graduate with a B.A. in Geography and a minor in Business Administration. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident, capable, and supported in their learning journey. Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of working with youth across Newfoundland and Labrador through education and community programs focused on environmental awareness, teamwork, and leadership. These experiences sparked my passion for guiding and mentoring students not only academically, but personally. I’m now hoping to continue my education through a Master of Counseling psychology with the long-term goal of becoming a registered clinical therapist and teacher, helping young people discover their strengths, manage challenges, and reach their full potential. I work with elementary, junior high, and high school students in geography, social studies, business studies, and creative writing, and also offer career and academic planning for high school students preparing for post-secondary studies. Students can expect patience, encouragement, and professionalism in every session a space where learning feels positive, supported, and tailored to your unique goals.
