About Joel
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and have spent the last 8 years teaching piano to students of various ages and levels. My journey as a teacher has been shaped by a belief in patient guidance and creative methods, helping each student find their own musical voice through structured, engaging lessons. Beyond teaching, I have accompanied choirs, performed at recitals, and composed beginner-friendly piano arrangements. These experiences enrich my teaching with real-world perspective and allow me to provide tips for both solo performance and ensemble collaboration. I integrate my practical knowledge to help students play with both precision and expression. Teaching piano is not just about building skill—it's about nurturing confidence, self-discipline, and a love for music. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where students feel motivated and encouraged. Every piano lesson begins with core fundamentals that build strong technique and hand coordination.
