About Zhanna
Zhanna Sinitsyna was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and trained at the world-renowned Vaganova Academy under Kirov prima ballerina Ninel Kourgapkina. She studied pas de deux with Nikolai Serebrennikov and Marat Daukaev, and character dance with Irina Gensler. Zhanna made her professional debut with the Mariinsky (Kirov) Ballet, touring internationally in Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, and across the United States. She has danced with the Boston Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, New Jersey Ballet, and Colorado Ballet, and partnered with ballet legends such as Fernando Bujones and Igor Zelensky. Career Highlights Performed major roles: Odette in Swan Lake Juliet in Romeo and Juliet Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker Tatiana in A Midsummer Night’s Dream Nikia in La Bayadère Maria in Fountain of Bakhchisarai Leading roles in Balanchine’s Prodigal Son Performed in China and Taiwan with Ballet Internationale Featured at St. Petersburg Conservatory’s Alma Mater Gala (2008) performing The Dying Swan Named Best Dance Performer of the Year (2004) by Ballet Internationale And many more. Teaching & Choreography Zhanna is a master ballet teacher with extensive experience at the following institutions: Faculty at the Tulsa School of Ballet In Ballet Internationale academy of dance taught in Clara Nois under the direction of Vladilen Semyonov Danced in ballet internationale under the direction of Irina Kolpokova and Vladilen Semyonov Ballet director of Elite Art Academy (2005–2009): Choreographed The Snow Queen (2007), Cinderella (2008), Coppélia (2009) Summer faculty at Metropolitan Ballet Academy (TX) and Gregory Hancock Dance Theater (IN) Instructor at Butler University (2018–2019) and Expressions Dance (2017–2024) Since 2011: ballet instructor at Central Indiana Academy of Dance, where she choreographed a full-length Cinderella Danced in companies including Ballet Internationale and Boston Ballet

I have classical ballet foundations, I teach pointe technique and pre-pointe, I do competition and audition prep, character dancing, character role training, and I adapt the Vaganova Method to my students. I want to help grow your technique, artistry, and confidence together. I am looking for students that are pre-professional or professional. I can provide extra coaching for professionals as a professionally trained ballet dancer myself. I am also able to teach students age 8+at any point in their ballet development.
