About Lucy
Hi! My name is Lucy. I am a Balwyn High School graduate who achieved an ATAR of 97.80.
I have always loved to learn ever since I was little, expressing this in many ways from non-fiction reading, learning languages, psychology of the mind, etc.
I found economics to be a keen interest of mine when I jumped into the 3/4 units in year 12 (with some foundational knowledge built in a year 10 commerce subject), and it was especially intuitive to me, so I found the subjects really engaging.
I also enjoy creative writing, painting, sport, weightlifting, surfing, listening to music and dancing in my free time :)

Graduated Balwyn High School with a 97.80 ATAR, with a raw study score of 44 in Economics (owing to a 157/160 score in the exam).
I have learnt various methods for studying that helped me reach this ATAR and study score, that I am passionate to share with you - especially when it comes to performing under exam pressure as that is where I performed best.
Economics is difficult but with the right method and attitude that I propound can also be intuitive for you!
I have learnt various techniques that I can assist you with (including spaced repetition, active recall, etc.) and building blocks with how to respond to exam-style questions, step-by-step. This includes handouts, PowerPoints, diagrams and flowcharts that utilise visual learning to best engage you.
