I am a Masters graduate in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from LSE. I used to teach Microeconomics to second year undergraduates as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. I have trained as an Electrical Engineer and also have an MBA. I am very passionate about teaching and have PhD offers from multiple universities.
I have been tutoring for 6 years and I only work with students at top universities who are looking for rigorous tutoring to cover the entire coursework in a few weeks and target exams. I have a personal database of questions and past exams that I use to test my students and prepare them for conceptual variations of the material covered in class.
I am an enthusiastic, young and energetic tutor. My lessons are interactive, concentrating on the practical understanding of the subject matter. I help my students achieve standards that maximise their potential. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach A-level Economics, Mathematics and Statistics. I also teach Degree Level Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics and Economics.
The lesson revolves around student needs: • Exam preparation – we focus on understanding the content, then selected seminar topics and finally exam past papers. • Selected topic work – firm focus on one topic includes highlighting the essential workings and the applications of the course. • Project support – often students don’t know where to start.
Over the last year or so, I have taught almost 50 students. Some in small groups, others in individual lessons. No two students are the same and as it turns out no two lessons should be the same either. A typical lesson works as follows. At the start of each lesson, we develop and agree a lesson plan together.
Tough goal-oriented tutorials backed-up by relevant home tasks. Of course, my ultimate goal is to make tutorials interesting and inspirational both for me and the student.
My approach is to combine the theoretical knowledge with real-world examples. I believe that helps students link the curriculum to historical events and that adds extra help in understanding the topic itself. I find it very important to engage with my students in an encouraging, supporting way that makes them want to interact and ask during lessons.

My approach to tutoring is simple, fun and effective. Before the lessons commence, I plan the syllabus ahead, structuring each lesson's objectives, notes, and helpful resources. During the first lesson, my objective is to get to know the learning style of my client and provide a short introduction about myself.
The key to my lessons is to provide a fun and engaging experience, making seemingly dull topics interesting and relevant through real life examples.

My teaching method is based on a customised lesson approach. I use the student's syllabus, study materials and past exam papers to create an initial assessment. The initial assessment helps me understand the student's strengths and weaknesses.
I am a Ph.D. student in Economics with teaching experience of two years. I intend to stay in academia after the completion of my Ph.D., as apart from enjoying research, I have understood during those last years how much I love teaching. I am a driven and enthusiastic person while reading and travelling are at the top of my leisure choices.
Experienced- Individually designed to recipients optimum learning methods. Teaching includes adherence to the assessment methodology of the examination authority and curriculum structure. Regular assessment of recipients understanding and ability to achieve the standards required. Assessment mode mirrors examination boards methods/standards.
I use a variety of methods depending upon the situation and how individual students learn. I encourage students to use different ways to learn, whilst adapting my teaching according to what helps them to make progress. I have found that it often helps for students to work out how they want to use my time rather than be passive learners.
I follow the structure outlined by the SQA and break topics down into bite sized chunks. I’ll clarify the subject areas students need help with most and use day to day examples which young learners can relate to and understand. Lessons will be drawn to a close with a recap of the issues raised during the session and summary questions will encourage critical thinking and reinforce understanding.
The approach that I took to learning this myself means that I am comfortable with teaching this course extremely quickly, and the method of getting the pupil to teach a concept back to me has been proven to have the highest retention rates. In a typical lesson, I would come with stimulus material that we would discuss and then try to apply theory to current events.
My method of teaching is explaining concepts through simple words. No matter how hard the concept is, it is always appreciated when translated to simple terms. I have knack for getting things across to people in a simple manner. I teach in order of preference of the student unless I think it is absolutely necessary in order to follow the structure depending on the subject.
My dynamic approach to teaching is evident in my ability to adapt to new cultures and surroundings. Economics is my passion but I have also taught Business Studies, A-Level Government and Politics, as well as IGCSE Travel & Tourism.
Hi, I'm a first-year student at Warwick University studying Economics, and I give lessons to pupils from year 9 upwards to year 13 in Economics. My lessons last about 2 hours and are quite interactive - as engaging students allows tough topics to be understood with ease.
My teaching method is to learn about the background/base knowledge if a student(s) and be able to progress though core material and then expand, but the key I find is practice means progression
Hello, I'm a recent graduate of the University of Birmingham with a degree in International Relations with Economics! I am currently based in London and am offering tutoring to students undertaking AS/A level Economics. I take a friendly and proactive approach to tutoring in the aim of helping students improve their confidence in their understanding of the subject and answering exam questions.
I graduated from high school with two diplomas: one for completing the IBDP and the other for completing the syllabus Turkey's Ministry of National Education offers. Hence, it is safe to say that I am a multi-faceted tutor who approaches each subject by comparing and contrasting various point of views.
As I have just finished A-Levels I believe I can be both approachable and understanding when tutoring both GCSE and A-Level students. I shall extend my tutoring beyond the specification, offering advice on how I revised for my subjects and also provide useful preparation for exams.
I'm very happy to share my revision/exam techniques with you in the fields of Mathematics and Economics. My teaching style focusses upon the topics that you are less confident in, as this was one of the main aspects of teaching that I did not receive while at school which is crucial to building a strong academic profile.
I am a versatile individual and tailor my sessions to the students learning capabilities. Typically, I approach the basic fundamentals of the topic, apply to a case study and then use theoretical versus real life analysis. Thus, the student can relate the fundamentals to a case study which makes the topic more understandable.
My teaching method is to make sure my student understands the topic in a way that makes perfect sense to them. This is why i beleive 1-to-1 lessons are key, everyone has different ways of learning and understanding and it's crucially important that each student learns in a way specific to them. When you understand something in a way that is clear to you, it becomes very easy.
I will try to break down topics into manageable chunks, and make sure we use methods which work best for them. I am approachable, enthusiastic and enjoy students asking any questions they have so that they are clear in their understanding of the topics.
I only teach at GCSE level or lower. My lesson structure begins by getting to know the student and adapting the lessons to their bespoke needs. Examples of an appropriate structure include doing past papers to ensure appropriate exam technique.
In order to ensure students fully maximise their tuition I adopt a methodical approach to lesson structure, fully covering the basic topics before broaching more complex ideas. This approach has proven helpful to students across a range of competencies, from high school to degree level.
