About Scott
I have 10 years experience working in the field of Banking Regulations conducting Bank Examinations. I have passed all three levels of the *very* difficult Chartered Financial Analyst test. I also have three years experience as a Budget Analyst, where I utilized a wide variety of finance and accounting skills. I consider myself an easy-going person so we will probably get along well if I tutor you. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of California, at Riverside and an Accounting education from the UC Santa Cruz Extension Center. Finance and accounting are my true loves. Yes that is strange to say, but it may come in handy for you! I love teaching. There is little that is more satisfying than getting another person to understand. This I will do with patience and passion.

Most of your tests are going to be "doing problems" tests and not "reading" tests. So you need to be able to do lots of problems to do well on the test. I am going to walk you through problems illustrating finance concepts, step by step. We will also do interludes on theory and concepts, but I always connect them to problems. I can also create new problem sets if needed (sometimes we need even more). Note that I can also give guidance with concepts you need to learn for projects and papers. My parting advice to you is practice, practice, practice your problem sets.
