About Gavin
I have played basketball since a chance invitation to a training session got me hooked. I was 14 and prior to that I had no experience. It took me a while to build up my skills as everything was new to me. I have played for my school, youth centre, college, and two basketball clubs. I naturally started coaching at a school I had been working at and in my 3rd year coaching, we finally won the borough championship. I had a break for a while, then I was an assistant coach for Harris Knights Academy where they had their best season to date, reaching 3rd in the league. The bug for basketball will never die and I'd like to share my knowledge with others doing so in a fun, relaxed, but focused environment.

Perfect! I would like to learn basketball with my 13-year-old son. We had a trial lesson with Gavin. He is great from the pre-lesson communication; compared with the other 2 coaches I made contact with, he's the only one that asked if we have learned a certain technique. When we had the lesson, he structured it to help us learn a lot of the basic skills and made sure we could follow. At the end of the lesson, both my son and I improved a lot, thanks to Gavin's patience and continuous encouragement. We can't wait to have the next lesson with Gavin.

Great teacher and and an honest person couldn’t ask for a better person
I met him when I was 15, he was becoming a vocal coach at the same time as I was and he was still quite a shy but able vocalist. I've been supported by him on projects and shows since.
He's such an empowering and approachable guy, thank you Gav! Like a big broGavin is honest and straightforward. 3hr packages are available at £145 All packages are minus travel costs Session cancellation within 24hrs will still have a fee of £17.50. If cancellation takes place on the day of the session then a fee of £17.50 and £15travel cost will be incurred.
