About Tolu
I'm a qualified basketball and speed coach, working at universities, clubs and international schools over the past 3 years. I also founded Elite-Smart Athletes, a brand dedicated to educating the athletic community in every way possible, including through training. I've worked with a range of athletes, from professionals like Ovie Soko to children as young as 4 years old, and have connections across the UK basketball community.
I've played basketball since I was 9, represented regional teams at youth and university level, captained my university men's 1st team, played semi-pro in France and won NBL Men's Division 3 league title in the 2019/20 season with Richmond Knights.

After evaluating your skills through film study, each session will have an individual focus that will maximise your strengths and build up weaknesses that are relevant to your game. However, Rome wasn't built in a day so we must both respect the process of mastering a skill for as long as it takes before progressing.
The purpose of every drill is to translate to game situations in the most efficient way possible. I want you to understand why you're doing something without me having to say a word. I also want you to understand how your body should be functioning before, during and after a session because it's my job to make sure that you're in the best position to avoid injuries.
