About Joey
About Me
Music has always been my biggest fascination—ever since I can remember, I’ve wanted to understand exactly how sounds were made and recreate them myself! As a kid, I tinkered on any instrument I could find, no matter how out of tune. Little did I know, this curiosity would turn into a lifelong obsession with music and sound creation.
I started formally studying music as a teenager, and my passion only deepened as I went on to complete a diploma and later a degree in electronic music production. Along the way, I was lucky to meet other music lovers and creators who inspired me to push my own boundaries and refine my craft.
With over 10 years of experience in Logic Pro and a solid foundation in sampling, synthesis, sound design, beat making, and recording, I’m here to help you discover and expand your own creative process. I’d love to share the techniques, tips, and insights I’ve learned over the years, supporting you in your unique journey with electronic music.
Whether you're just starting out or want to take your skills to the next level, I’m excited to guide you from basics to a deeper understanding and confidence in your music production!

Joey is a very knowledgeable and articulate musician and producer. Drawing from a wide range of influences and styles, his ability to create texturally rich and informed productions will enable you as a student to explore a world of sonic possibilities , and help to develop and refine your skills as a sonic artist.
I collaborated with Joey earlier this year on an immersive theatrical R&D where we used music and Binaural sound to explore internal autistic worlds.
I had minimal knowledge of sound/ music composition prior to this project and he was extremely patient, passionate and knowledgeable throughout the process.
Joeys contagious creativity, coupled with his calm, thoughtful and supportive demeanor, make him a quality collaborator and teacher.View more recommendations
