About Andrew
I am currently in my first year studying to become a post-primary teacher for technology and design at Stranmillis University College Belfast. I achieved an A grade in my A level technology and design and an A* at GCSE, and so have a good understanding of the electric and microelectric systems syllabus. I also am able to provide help with other elements of the course such as material selection and manufacture methods. i can also give students advice regarding their coursework as this plays a large part in the overall grade.

The structure of my lessons relies heavily on what topic the student requires assistance with. For example, if the student requires help with a specific topic of electronics I will mainly focus on first of all explaining the basic principles of calculating the required value asked for in the question, I will then work on enabling the student to recognise this type of question in the future so they know how to handle it when it comes up in an exam. If the student requires help with a different topic such as materials I will focus on suggesting and putting into practice different methods of learning the properties of a specific material for example.
