About Freeman
The smell of fresh wood and nylon strings first drew me into the world of guitar. I spent 6 years refining these skills while completing my BMus at the Royal Academy of Music.
69 students have worked with me to improve their acoustic technique and electric playing. I value clarity above all else.
Songwriting and grade exam prep form the core of my teaching approach. Reading tabs is just the start of the journey.
Tuning and maintenance are critical skills I insist on teaching early. Strumming patterns usually define the feel of a song. I hope to see you in the studio soon.

Struggling to find the right chord shapes often kills the excitement of playing a new song. I see you sitting there with a 7.0 rating goal in mind while trying to master complex electric technique. My lessons provide a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum high for every student. We fix those awkward transitions that make songs feel disjointed.
My BMus background ensures you learn the theory behind why your fingers move that way. I focus on making your practice sessions feel like discovery rather than chores.
You will learn to navigate the fretboard with absolute precision during our time. I make sure your acoustic technique is polished for every performance. It is always rewarding to hear your progress in real time. Playing should be fun.
