About Ellie
I did Speech and Debate for 10 years, and was a national finalist 3 times in different events. I was named Top 5 in the nation for mixed Extemp, Top 14 in the nation for United States Extemp, and Top 10 in the nation for Congress. I finaled at 20+ national circuit tournaments, and was recognized as an All State Winner (Top 1% in California) & Academic All American. I was a board member and coach at Extempify & Interpify, coaching 20+ students, and managing a coaching service of 300+ students in total. I also tutored students for 5 years under my nonprofit EloEllie in writing & book analysis. I'm also a published author of 2 books, and won the Scholastic National Silver Medal, Regional Gold Key, John Locke Global Essay Finalist, GetLit Poetry competition, and Princeton Legal Journal. I have extensive experience and success in all the events I coach, and I currently have a few open spots for motivated students looking to take their performance to the next level!

I offer personalized speech and debate coaching that includes at least one hour of live coaching each week, plus 30 minutes of detailed, asynchronous feedback on your videos, recordings, or written work—such as weekly script or writing revisions. For students competing on the national circuit, I’m also available for in-person coaching at select tournaments. I offer coaching in Extemp, Congress, Oratory, Interp (acting), and Impromptu, as well as generalized public speaking, and mock trial. I also offer tutoring and revision services for essays and writing.
