About Lior
Hi! I'm Lior, a Brooklyn-based musician.
I have 15+ years of experience playing the flute, studying music theory and harmonic concepts.
I attended Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2025 with a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production and a concentration in Creative Entrepreneurship.
I've also been performing from a young age, having had the opportunity to share the stage with great musicians such as Jeff Ballard.
Teaching is a great passion of mine, and I hope to instill the same passion in my students!

I customize lesson plans based on the skill level, pace and goals of each student. Whether a beginner, intermediate or advanced musician, whether you're looking for consistent instruction or just to explore the joy of music, we will come up with the right journey for you!
I'm open to teaching children (ages 8+), teens and adults. My specialty is Jazz flute, including improvisation; I'm also proficient in classical and contemporary harmonic concepts.
I believe that a strong foundation of tone and technique is the best way to start your flute journey, after which we can begin to explore different genres and new skills.
