About Nicolas
I'm a Berklee NYC graduate and current Graduate Fellow, holding a Master of Arts in Creative Media and Technology: Live Music Production and Design, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Berklee World Tour Scholarship recipient. Based in New York City, I work professionally as a music producer, sound designer, and live show designer, creating concerts and live music experiences.
With a background in music production, guitar, and electronic engineering, I combine artistic creativity with technical expertise to bring musical ideas to life.
Throughout my career, I've worked on multiple live shows, music productions, and commercially released songs, collaborating with Grammy-winning artists, producers, and creative teams. My experience spans recording studios, concert halls, musical theater, and major music festivals in New York, Colombia, and beyond.
I'm passionate about sharing the knowledge I've gained through both my academic journey and professional experience. I believe that music education should be accessible, engaging, and connected to the real creative industry.
Now, I want to share that experience with you! Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, my goal is to help you unlock your creativity, build confidence, and turn your musical ideas into reality.

My lessons cover a wide range of creative and technical skills, including music production, recording, mixing, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, show design, playback, sound design, live sound engineering, and live show production.
I'm particularly passionate about show design and live experiences, exploring how music, sound, lighting, visuals, technology, and artistic direction come together to create memorable performances.
**How do my lessons work?**
I believe the best way to learn music and technology is by creating. My teaching approach combines essential concepts with practical exercises, creative exploration, and real-world projects.
Each lesson is personalized to your experience, interests, and goals. Whether you want to produce your first song, improve your mixing skills, develop your guitar technique, prepare a live performance, or learn how professional concerts are designed and produced, we'll build a learning path that works for you.
A typical lesson combines new concepts, hands-on practice, feedback, and practical applications that you can continue developing independently.
**Who are my lessons for?**
My lessons are open to students of all levels, from complete beginners to musicians, producers, and aspiring professionals looking to expand their creative and technical skills.
My goal is not simply to teach you how to use software or equipment, but to help you develop your artistic vision, understand the creative process, and gain the confidence to transform your musical ideas into real-world experiences.
