Adam is a super tutor! Having worked at Side By Side Arts in Gateshead we were so sad to lose him to the big city lights of London!

I kid you not: Adam is probably the best teacher I've had of anything - and I say that as a person who does a lot of teaching and even teaches teachers.

As a very embarrassed 38 year old beginner, Adam guided me through a ridiculously ambitious first drumming project, performing with and for my friends at my 40th birthday party! He is exceptionally enthusiastic about drumming, and brings with him a really broad knowledge that makes learning with him feel like solid music education rather than just learning some techniques and pieces.

Adam is very adaptable to what is happening in the lessons and in the life of the learner, and is sensitive to what is working and what might be uncomfortable. He is excellent at setting the stage for learning and makes the environment really comfortable and safe. I felt taken seriously as someone trying really hard, but we also laughed a lot too!

If it weren't that we now live in different cities, I'd still be enjoying my regular lessons with Adam.
