About Wiktoria
My name is Wiktoria, and I’ve always found joy in helping others—whether it’s supporting patients during my nurse training or encouraging someone as they find their voice in a new language. I moved to the UK from Poland as a child, so I understand what it’s like to learn English from scratch and how overwhelming it can sometimes feel. That’s exactly why I want to tutor. I know how much confidence can grow when someone takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense. I want to be that person for someone else. I’m patient, friendly, and always happy to adapt to what you need—whether it’s gentle encouragement, grammar help, or just someone to practise speaking with.

Hi! I’m Wiktoria, a bilingual English tutor and student nurse at the University of Edinburgh. I’m here to support you with whatever you need—whether that’s writing essays, improving grammar, practising conversation, or just getting ready for a trip abroad. I believe learning works best when it’s relaxed and tailored to you. In my lessons, we’ll use real-life examples, roleplay everyday situations, work on writing and speaking clearly, and build up your confidence step by step. I’ve previously tutored children, but I’m happy to help learners of all ages and levels. No pressure, no judgement—just friendly, practical support to help you feel more comfortable using English in everyday life.
