About Soizic
I am an ecological landscape professional who was raised part time in the US and part time in France. I love to incorporate my love of the language into my own life, and sharing my experience for doing that with others. I worked as a French TA during my time in college, and am currently completing a Diploma in French Translation through NYU to turn my career more towards language processing.

I focus on helping students incorporate the language into their everyday lives, and on speaking. I use podcasts, songs, readings, and personal narrative exercises to invite students to interact with the language in a more creative way, rather than through rote studying. I encourage students to explore other subjects that interest them through the lens of French and French culture.
I am also proficient in Spanish, and learning that as a third language has given me tools to help new language learners approach their work with playfulness and curiosity. For me, language is a key to new perspectives on life and the world, and being able to help others use language as a tool for connection is a great source of joy.
