My classes will be oral, either over the phone or online. They have an informal structure, being aimed primarily at people who are simply looking to improve their level of conversational Spanish. I like to allow my students to set the agenda, deciding up front on the type of topics that they wish to speak about and practice. Based on the wishes of my students, we will have general conversations, in which I will correct both the grammar and the accent in a way that does not hinder the flow of the conversation. I also prepare vocabulary lists for us to practice, based on the conversation topic that we will cover in class.
I am half Spanish - half American. I was born and raised in Madrid, but I have also lived in Ibiza and I now live in London. Whilst I am new to teaching, I have always loved meeting new people and learning about their lives. I am very outgoing, confident and patient. This, combined with my Spanish and English skills, means that I can offer open, fun and stimulating conversations for students of all levels who are looking to improve their conversational Spanish in an informal, laid back and welcoming environment.
