About Annie

Hello, I’m Annie Sun—an enthusiastic Sydney-based law tutor with a Distinction-average JD from UNSW and High-Distinction double degrees from ECUPL. After three years of cross-border legal practice and 100 + student workshops, I’ve learned how to translate dense doctrine into clear, memorable steps tailored to your background and goals. Whether you’re tackling Foundation-level concepts or sharpening Bachelor-level analysis, I’ll bring patience, practical examples and genuine passion to every 30- or 60-minute session so you leave confident, engaged and exam-ready.

About the lesson

1. Teaching Approach
I unpack complex doctrine into everyday language, add flow-charts and concrete examples, then rebuild the layers so students see both detail and big picture. My cross-cultural lens keeps classes inclusive; I vary methods—case debates, short quizzes, visual summaries—to match each learner’s language level and confidence.

2. Session Formats
30-minute “topic sprints” target a single concept; 60-minute deep dives weave explanation, practice questions and real-time feedback into one workshop.

3. Lesson Flow
Five-minute recap sets the scene → fifteen or forty minutes of guided exploration → ten minutes for application and open Q & A.

4. Engagement Tools
Interactive whiteboard, issue-spotting checklists and live polls keep energy high and thinking active.

5. Credentials
Distinction-average in both UNSW JD and ECUPL LLB/BCom programs; bilingual in Mandarin and English; workshop satisfaction consistently above 95 percent.

6. Learner Focus
I specialise in helping LLB undergraduates and Foundation-Studies students bridge the gap from introductory ideas to advanced legal reasoning.

Annie is amazing at simplifying complicated legal topics. Her explanations in Business Associations and Equity were super clear and always had structure. She uses headings, colours, and checklists that really help with focus and memory.

I felt so scattered before our sessions, but she helped me organise my notes and understand exactly how to tackle problem questions. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants law to make sense again!

When I started tutoring with Annie, I was weeks behind in Business Associations and had no idea how I’d catch up before exams. She didn’t just jump into content—she helped me get calm, get organised, and build a realistic plan.

What I appreciated most was how she never made me feel stupid. She’d always say, “Let’s work through it together,” and guide me at my pace. I ended up not just catching up, but doing better than I expected. She’s a genuinely kind and skilled tutor.
