About Faisal
Hi, my name is Faisal. I'm currently studying at the University of Bristol towards an Msci in Biochemistry with Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. As the degree titles suggests, I am therefore proficient in both biology and chemistry. I was also in the first wave of students to undergo the new AQA Chemistry and Biology A levels/AS level.
I have previously, at my former secondary school whilst I was in Sixth Form, assissted in GCSE, A level and AS level classes. I was especially involved in the lower ability classes to aid those that particularly struggled with the concepts.
I've found in my informal experience that students/pupils who require more support are generally lost at the most basic concepts, therefore my teaching is predominantly the absolute coverage of fundamental science followed by the gradual addition of new more diffiult concepts. Once the fundamentals are mastered learning becomes more a process of elucidation than memorisation, and it is this thought process that I teach, I think the more successful students/pupils in a cohort adopt.
N.B - both my rate and scehduled hours would be negotiable. :)
