About Flora
Hello! My name is Flora and I have over two years of experience as a tutor for secondary school students. My favourite part of the role is connecting with my students and helping them to understand something that they find difficult or confusing - I really enjoy seeing something finally ‘click’ for a student, especially if it’s been a real challenge. I’m friendly, considerate, and a good listener, so will always try to understand exactly which aspects of a topic a student finds tricky.

I believe in open communication: it’s very important to me that my students always feel comfortable to ask any questions and to let me know if something doesn’t make sense. It’s therefore really important to me to get to know my students and to understand their preferred learning methods, whether that be diagrams, practice questions, or memorisation techniques, so that I can put them at ease and help them to enjoy their sessions and progress at their own pace.
