About Felicity
Hi, I’m Felicity! I’m a university student at the University of Nottingham, studying Biochemistry, with hopes of pursuing postgraduate research in neuroscience and, ultimately, becoming an academic. I’ve had my fair share of academic challenges, so I understand that the path to success isn’t always linear. Everyone learns differently, and I want to tailor my approach to each student’s individual strengths, helping them feel supported and engaged throughout the learning process. Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, working through challenging concepts, preparing for exams, or simply want to improve your skills, I’m here to help you make steady progress and build confidence in your abilities.

My teaching methodology is adapted to each student's individual preferences, learning style, and needs. I use a conceptual approach for students who want to develop a deeper understanding beyond the core curriculum, while also incorporating theoretical and practical approaches to accommodate students with different levels of ability and confidence.
Lessons typically last between one and two hours, depending on the student's needs and attention span. I recognise that longer sessions can sometimes be counterproductive for learners, so I aim to structure each lesson in a way that keeps students engaged while making the most effective use of their time.
I am currently in the Integrated Masters of Biochemistry programme at the University of Nottingham. I achieved 90/100 in both AP Biology and Chemistry as well as scoring 4 in both subjects. I also have laboratory experiences through the University of Pennsylvania.
My academic background also includes AP Calculus, in which I achieved a score of 4 in both AP calculus AB and BC.
Lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Natural sciences are available for students studying at GCSE and Advanced Placement (AP) level, and are conducted remotely via zoom.
