About Gwenyth
I encourage students to take lessons with me because I frequently work with physics materials. As a Supplemental Instructor for physics at my university, I have obtained an A in algebra-based physics. As a part of my job, I attend the class again with the students and organize/lead three weekly review sessions for students about the most challenging course material. I am well-versed with the conceptual material due to my repeated exposure to it.
My experience as an SI sets me apart from other tutors because I have learned to adapt to the needs of the student. I have a variety of teaching methods prepared, including helping a student set up problems and free body diagrams and allowing them to solve it, allowing them to design a question for me to work out in front of them, and having them explain a problem to me to help synthesize the material. However, I can mold to whatever fits the needs of a specific student, as I have worked with many students with varying needs.
