About Scarlett
I am a Masters student doing a research postgraduate degree in molecular ecology and computational genetics. I completed IGCSEs and GCSEs, A-Levels and Cambridge Pre-Us, then moved to Australia and graduated university (in Australia from a top 5 uni- UNSW) with an average over 80%. I have won national and international awards for research and have been tutoring since year 11 of school. I hate memorisation and maths, despite having a biology degree and doing applied maths for my masters - and found skills and ways to make it work. Now I proudly tutor both and teach the skills I found helped on.

My teaching method is a visual one. I am a freelance artist and graphic designer and I learn best through visual aids, when it comes to biology this was vital because there are a lot of things to memorise in a biology degree. In addition, I also can help with explain statistics and bioinformatics in a logical and understandable way, taking what seem like meaningless theoretical concepts and symbols that you cannot seem to understand and turning them into beautiful posters with examples so you can make sense of it all.
