About Luca
I’m Luca, a 16 year old from Glasgow. I know I’m young but I’ve had tutoring experience in-school, having successfully tutored many S1-S4 students in a variety of subjects.
I’ve always been a high achiever myself, and I know how it feels to not get the result you expected. It sucks.
Even from a younger age, I loved teaching people the things I had learnt. I found it really rewarding when someone was able to do something they had never gotten before as a result of my help, feeling proud of themselves because of it (as they should!!)
I achieved 8 National 5 A’s in S4, despite only taking 7 classes, having taught myself Applications of Maths in a couple of weeks. I am now on track to achieve 5 Higher A’s this May.
My National 5’s are still fresh in my memory, and I’m committed to getting you where you need to be - to the best you can be - for that exam.

Due to my closeness in age to students, they are likely to feel more comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discussing important topics. I have also experienced N5 exam stress, higher prelims, and (a lot of) studying. This means through my own trial and error I have worked out the most effective strategies for high achievement.
My hours are extremely flexible for afterschool tutoring, from 1-3 hour sessions as needed per student.
I will use a variety of resources and techniques to best aid the students' learning, and as they develop and I have a better understanding of their needs and strengths, these will be adjusted to ensure a personalised fit for your child.
