About Hannah
I have a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Leeds, and an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I spent a year in an immunology lab in Japan, worked at Public Health England as an Epidemiology Scientist for two years (including during the pandemic!), and worked at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine as a programme coordinator for a disease control programme for a year. I also spent six months as a teaching assistant at a school in India (and taught biology lessons during this time), I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification, and I have worked as a climbing instructor at a summer camp for kids in Canada. I have lots of experience with biology, public health and other sciences, as well as lots of real-world life experience and am happy to help you with revision, essays, applications or anything else you would like help with!

I am very friendly, patient and approachable, and we can structure our sessions around whatever it is you most need help with, in a way that will best help you to learn. I can also be flexible with lessons lengths - for example, if you struggle to keep focused for long lengths of time then quick 30 minute lessons might be best for you, or if you have lots of topics to cover and would like to have lessons lasting over an hour, that’s fine too! I am able to tutor any age up to A-levels in Biology (including primary school science), and up to degree level (BSc) in public health and epidemiology related topics. I can also help with job or university applications, as I know these can be tricky!
