About Joe
I have experience tutoring online through FaceTime. I tutored one boy for his Maths GCSE and one girl for her biology A level. I also regularly helped my younger sibling with a variety of subjects at GCSE level. I volunteered at a local Pupil Referral Unit, helping teach secondary school students with behavioural issues and have two years experience coaching junior football. Through this I have gained experience teaching people from a variety of backgrounds and students of different ages, while developing my communication skills greatly.

Discussion plays an important part in my lessons, to get students comfortable putting key ideas into words. I have found this is useful for verbal learners, but I always prepare visual aids and diagrams to support visual learners. I put these ideas in the context of exam questions, as in my experience mastering exam technique is crucial and often challenging.
