The method I like to take is to teach the person how to do a certain task, then show a demonstration, next to let them try an example and then I mark it and explain it if the answer is wrong. I understand that some individuals take longer to learn stuff than others, so fortunately I am very patient with students and will never have a go at them.
I am into health and fitness, play the guitar and like to read, these are among the several things I like to do as a student. I am always eager to learn new things and I find that I can also learn things from people I teach as well as teaching them the subject.

I am a punctual and reliable person who works well under pressure and is able to work both in a team environment and on my own initiative. I am a very professional individual who is customer focused and have a good work ethic, and while being someone who is very eager to learn, I am able to pick up on things quite easily. Work experience at Société Générale June 2015-July 2015
Took part in the National Citizen Service July 2016 – August 2016
A few weeks after I finished my secondary education at St Thomas More, I took part in NCS, a well-known organisation that helps teenagers build skills for work and life in the future, while being able to take on new challenges and meet new friends. In a period of three weeks, the first week revolved around building relationships with other people especially in the groups we were placed in, through activities such as rock climbing and building rafts, it was activities like these that created a sense of competitiveness which helped to increase our productivity. The second week involved staying in University accommodation with our groups and we were responsible for cooking ourselves which helped us acquire a sense of independence, we also spent more time with our groups and carried out more verbal exchange to develop communication skills and aim to become a leader, as well as interacting with other groups more often.
Porter – The Meze Sept 2016-June 2018
During my time working at the Meze, I learnt many new skills and became familiar with what is required for a restaurant to be successful. It occurred to me that it was only possible for a restaurant to be successful if there was a teamwork effort, if we had good relationships with one another, as well as with the customers. Even though my main job was a Porter, I would be asked to help with other jobs such as waitering and being behind the bar to help make drinks. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn these new skills as I believe it will help me in the future with almost any job in terms of communication and work efficiency. One of the most noticeable aspects of working at the Meze was the relationships I formed with colleagues along the period, it helped me put my confidence and communication skills to good use (as well as improving them) and as I mentioned, it helped make the job a lot easier as we would be more respectful and patient with one another. Overall, working at this restaurant has changed me as a person and it has made me stronger for whatever is ahead.
