About Amanda
Biology was my favourite subject at school, I always wanted to be the next David Attenborough! I love animals. My love for Biology is the main reason for doing my job, but more important than that is helping young people achieve their goals and ambitions.

I have been teaching Biology for the past 7 years. I have taught jn mainstream schools, College and now a small ASN school. I chose a career in teaching due to my passion for the subject. I believe in developing lessons which fit the pupils' needs. All pupils are individuals who have a variety of learning styles. I aim to help pupils build confidence to achieve their goals. I currently work part-time in a small school setting. I work with small groups of pupils who have additional support needs, adapting to the needs of each individual.
Biology should be fun and exciting for young people, and that's what I try to offer my students.
I have helped many young people through exams with great success and I always strive to get the best out of every pupil I teach.
