About Emma
As a senior Biomedical Engineering student, I bring both strong academic knowledge and real-world problem-solving experience to my tutoring. My approach as a tutor is based on clarity, connection, and confidence-building. I start by identifying how each student learns best. Then, we work through practice problems together before ending with a short reflection or summary to reinforce key ideas. What sets me apart is my ability to connect technical subjects like math, science, and coding to everyday experiences. A skill that has shaped my background outside of my education has been teaching children’s swim lessons, where patience and encouragement are key. My lessons are designed for middle and high school students who want to strengthen their foundation in math, science, or introductory coding, especially those who benefit from a supportive, flexible, and engaging learning environment.
