About Alba
Hi, I’m Alba! I am a biomedical sciences PhD researcher based in London and a native Spanish speaker. My academic journey has taken me from hands-on laboratory research and complex data analysis to presenting scientific discoveries across the university. Having navigated high-level science for years, I understand firsthand that learning—whether it is breaking down a challenging signalling pathway or building fluency in a second language—can sometimes feel intimidating. That is why my approach is completely student-centred, supportive, and practical. I love helping students bridge the gap between abstract textbook theory and real-world understanding, turning tricky concepts into intuitive ideas. Beyond the lab, I am an active communicator and organiser, and I bring that same enthusiasm, patience, and adaptability to every lesson.
