About Arooj
Hi, I’m a Biomedical Science graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others learn. I specialise in online GCSE Biology tutoring, offering friendly, one-hour sessions tailored to each student’s individual needs. Although I’m new to formal tutoring, I’ve always been the person friends and classmates turned to for clear explanations and revision help. I believe in creating a supportive and pressure-free environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.

I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, meaning I tailor each session to the individual’s needs and learning style. I aim to explain topics clearly and break down complex ideas into simpler parts, using real-life examples where possible. I also encourage questions and create a relaxed environment so students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. Although I’m new to tutoring, my background in Biomedical Science has given me a deep understanding of biology, and I’m passionate about helping others learn. I’ll always prepare ahead of time and make sure each 1-hour session is focused, supportive, and productive. The lessons are aimed for secondary school students struggling with scientific topics, specifically biology.
