My teaching method is very structured and I balance time between teacher led lessons as well as student led where students are given a chance to micro teach in pairs or groups as I feel that making lessons active makes them more engaging and memorable.
My initial lesson will begin with finding out the specific areas the student would like to focus on and their preferred teaching style. Having studied up until A-level I am able to teach any level from year 1 to year 13.
I am fairly adapatable. I can adapt my teaching to the needs of the pupil and am very encouraging and patient.
I like to assess the students needs initially to determine their ability and what topics they struggle with. Then working with them to figure out the learning style best suited to them and working on their weaker skills with regular non pressured check up ‘tests’ to monitor their progress. And a little ‘homework’ can be set based of what we do in class.
I can provide tutorials for any level from A Levels to post-graduate. I aim to ensure that not only do my students have a good grasp of their subject, but also that they develop a good level of critical thinking, and where applicable are able to apply what they have learned to real life circumstances.
I received an A* in GCSE geography and an A at a level and am currently working st a 2:1 level at a Russel group university. My teaching methodology involves breaking everything down into blocks. I feel it is extremely important to break a topic up into separate sections so you're able to fully understand them individually before putting them all together to understand the full thing.
Why choose me? - I do hours of studying in my free time - I'm extremely passionate about what I teach. I'm not just doing this for the money - I'm friendly and easy-going.
I am very flexible in my approach to tutoring French and make sure it is relevant to the needs, lifestyle and interests of each client. I can work with no material and provide conversation only (for people who already speak quite well), or I can source books, videos, etc. Topics need to be relevant to the clients and lessons engaging.
I base my classes on online Skype, with worked examples, and occasional take-home assignments. I am comfortable tutoring at the school, college, university and post graduate level.
My teaching method is very interactive and dependent on an open relationship with the student. Usually to begin with I focus on topics the student, mother or school teacher has identified. Once these topics are clear I ensure the basic building blocks for the subject are secure so that the best base is built for growth and development within the subject.
i tend to use methods that the student would relate to and teach the way i wish i was taught. i got into tutoring when a neighbour asked if i could help their son with his maths and since have found it to be so rewarding to know that children benefit so greatly from my help.
What is it you want to know, looking to do or know more about? From this, the idea is breaking it down into the various points to focus on, how it can be simplified or expanded and the various options/ways possible, which you learn from while doing it.
First of all, I would ask the student what topics they are currently studying in class, and approach each one by asking how confident they feel with it, which means I can assess how much time we should spend on each for the student to reach their full potential.
What I want to do is: - understand your situation (why do you want to learn or improve Excel?); - check which formulas and tools on Excel you know how to use (picot tables, graphs, conditional formatting, data validation, freeze panel, slipt screen.. etc); - teach what you need so you are happy and confident using Excel.
My teaching method is to make lessons as interactive and engaging as possible. I use the Pomodoro technique which is simple yet is proven to be extremely helpful for students to retain as much information as possible. I am also a hard working and enthusiastic tutor who will always put 100% is helping students with there learning.
My teaching method is interactive. Speaking, writing, reading and exchanging ideas through practical exercises that will help the student learn and have confidence in their abilities.
I like to apply as much of a child's learning as possible the practical and real life problems.
My teaching method is to structure each class around the individual and their needs. I focus on making sure each lesson is targeted at how the student learns and what topics or questions they are finding most challenging. This normally involves working on content at the start of the lesson and then going into more detail work on past papers and potential essay questions.
I like to base my classes around whatever the student is studying with, and share my own revision techniques, as it took a while myself to find out what worked for me, a problem many people have! I additionally aim to increase students confidence with Geography, and make it seem less daunting than it may be.

My teaching method is to help the student or students out with difficulties and watch them shine as I manage to help them overcome their challenges.
My teaching method is to work on the difficulties of the student closely and help them improve and see their self esteem and self confidence in that subject grow.
My teaching methods are mostly to engage my students in critical thinking and analysis, by helping them think deeply on a topic.
My teaching method is flexible, I will allow you to make decisions on how you would like to be taught, but if in doubt I will make the decision for you. Each lesson will focus on something different.
