I teach by addressing your strengths and weaknesses then working on them with you until you fully understand the topics. I will also give you a more broad insight into the subject giving you an in depth knowledge.
I am a Biomedical Science student. This is my first time tutoring privately but I have taught friends before. I have A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths. I have completed the first year of my degree with a 1st.
Rates won't vary according to level of student. Cancellations have to be done with 24 hours notice otherwise the lesson will be charged.

Extracurricular Activities
• I have completed my Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards while studying at Kirkham Grammar. In which I participated in 4 expeditions and refined skills, volunteer work and sport activities to fulfill the award criteria.
• I was the Regimental Sergeant Major for the schools Combined Cadet force, in which I lead a team of 6 lower ranks to determine the weeks planning and activities. This also included many trips and weeks away in previous years to obtain the rank.
• I play Classical Guitar to grade 7 standards and I also play Jazz saxophone, which I have been practicing for 12 years. I was part of the Concert and swing band at school as well as singing in the choir.
• I gained experience with St. John ambulance and The Red Cross to learn first aid skills for a year. I also volunteered at Moor Villa in Kirkham where I spent an hour or more per week speaking to dementia patients and helping with tasks around the home.
Interests and additional information
I enjoy being active by exercising at least 5 times a week including weight training, running and swimming. I’m also extremely interested in the relation of nutrition and how society is impacted by changes in dietary pattern, I believe this subject will be the future of my career in scientific research.
