I always try and adapt to my tutees. My method of teaching is very flexible according to their needs. I can do practical explanations like tying a string to a ball to explain how an electron orbits around an atom (simple example), to just explaining it by word of mouth.
I am a Biomedicine undergrad. I have been giving physics lessons during my senior year but can very easily branch out to Chemistry and Biology. I have also always been helping my friends with content material since middle school and up till now. I am very enthusiastic about teaching and always try to find new ways to make things stick.
For each kilometre the student's house is from my house, I will charge an extra pound of travel fees (e.g. 3 km away will be £21 pounds for first hour and £18 for the following ones on the same day). Cancellation fee is £5.
I would say my best traits when it comes to a working environment are high ambition, creativity and the will to finish my task no matter what. I can adapt very quickly to unfamiliar and new situations as I am an international student and always keep emotions away from work. I am the eldest of my siblings, so I am very comfortable in a leading position with many responsibilities. As well as being able to receive orders and completing any assignment to the best of my ability. I am an international student from Egypt currently in my second year of a 4-year course (Biomedical Science-BSc) at The University of Surrey.

The Health and Medical Science foundation program I took in ONCampus London qualified me to enter The University of Surrey as it is equivalent to (if not more qualifying than) A-levels. Furthermore, I got a First in my first year at the University of Surrey (76%).
Student Representative at ONCampus London (Nov 2016-June 2017)
Acted as student representative in my foundation year in ONCampus London. In this time, other student representatives and I managed social and academic events along with having the role of passing on any messages from the students to the higher-ups. During this time, I honed my leadership and teamwork skills extensively. This role also greatly aided my presentation and public speaking skills which showed great use during the many presentations during my first year at The University of Surrey, and hopefully in future jobs as well. All these learnt attributes contributed to achieving a first in my first year at The Univerity of Surrey.
Physics Tutor at the British School in Cairo (Jan 2016-June 2016)
I worked full-time as a Physics Tutor during my senior year. This included monitoring and marking exams, along with aiding students in understanding the curriculum whenever the teacher could not. This job helped me develop a lot of key areas that are essential in the working environment. Firstly, monitoring exams allowed me to separate emotions from the work environment as I sometimes had to penalize misbehaving students that I knew outside tutoring as friends. Secondly, explaining a topic that a student finds hard to understand helped me think outside the box to try and explain it from different angles. This enhanced my creative skills. Finally, marking the exams required a lot of patience that I did not have before. However, having multiple stacks of sheets that I knew I needed to get through allowed me to master my patience and determination to finish the task at hand.
Skills and Awards:
• Thinking outside the box; high creativity when not able to solve a problem conventionally.
• Advanced social and analytical skills; being able to analyse social or non-social situations easily and act accordingly.
• Strong determination to finish task at hand.
• Fluent in Arabic and English and have a basic understanding of German.
• Good leadership and teamwork skills; very comfortable in both leading and non-leading roles.
• Got 100% attendance during my foundation program
• Awarded best group project of the year during foundation program (about CRISPR)
