About Beth
I have always had a strong interest in biology and really enjoyed studying A-level Biology, achieving an A grade. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University, allowing me to continue exploring my passion for science. I am also interested in teaching and enjoy helping others understand new topics. During a volunteering trip to Costa Rica, I gained experience working with and teaching children English, which helped develop my communication and teaching skills.

My biology lessons are personalised to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I can offer lessons online or in person, creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I will explain difficult topics clearly, using diagrams, practice questions and active recall techniques to build understanding and confidence. Lessons can also focus on exam technique and specific areas students find challenging.
