About Nia
Hi, I’m Nia!
I’m a Biomedical Science undergraduate student with a genuine passion for Biology and a love for helping others understand topics that might initially seem complicated. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I believe everyone has their own way of learning.
I have practical experience working in a research laboratory, which has allowed me to develop my scientific knowledge and see how Biology connects to real-world research. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, memorable explanations and working through problems step-by-step.
My goal is to make lessons relaxed, encouraging and tailored to each student. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve your grades or tackle a particularly tricky topic, I’m here to help!

I’m passionate about Biology and enjoy helping students turn difficult topics into clear, manageable concepts. I focus on understanding rather than simply memorising, making Biology feel less overwhelming while building strong subject knowledge and confidence.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether you’re working on a particular topic, preparing for exams or aiming to push your grades further. We can work through challenging concepts, practise exam questions, develop exam technique and identify any knowledge gaps along the way.
I can help with:
GCSE Biology content
Difficult or confusing topics
Exam questions and exam technique
Revision and study skills
Identifying knowledge gaps
GCSE exam preparation
I typically offer 45-minute to 1-hour lessons, with a relaxed and supportive approach where students can ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. Whether you need help with one topic or ongoing support throughout your GCSEs, we can work towards your individual goals together.
