About Madeline
Hi my name is Madeline Rieders. With a background in environmental justice and public health, I am excited to apply my broad skill sets and knowledge to tutoring. I have a Master of Science degree in Environmental Justice and a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and am passionate about the intersection of environmental justice and public health. I am especially interested in health disparities and structural racism. As a former biostatistician, I bring extensive skills in research, coding, data analysis, statistics, and technical writing. While I am proficient in the statistical software of Stata, I also am familiar with other statistical software programs. I also have strong writing, communication, and teamwork skills from my background in environmental justice. Regarding teaching experiences, I was a teacher assistant for a graduate-level public health course about program evaluation, and am eager to further apply my skills and knowledge to tutoring a variety of subjects, including coding, data analysis, statistics, public health, and writing.

I believe that small wins are important to celebrate along the way for students to improve their skills and knowledge in a certain subject area.
