About Marcos
Professional Scientist & Passionate Educator
I am a 26-year-old Biotechnologist currently living in the Northern Beaches. My journey in science has always been driven by curiosity, from researching complex proteins in a lab to leading Physics and Math as a Head Teacher in a bilingual school for 3 years. Teaching is not just a job for me; it is a passion.
Extreme Sports & The "Trident"
When I’m not in a lab or a classroom, you’ll most likely find me outdoors. I am an enthusiast of extreme sports, and I live by my personal "trident": Rock Climbing, Surfing, and Skiing. Having worked as a ski instructor for three seasons in Japan, I’ve learned the patience and precision required to coach people through challenging environments. This "instructor mindset" is exactly what I bring to my academic tutoring: resilience, focus, and a positive attitude.
Why I’m in Northern Beaches
I moved to Australia to continue my professional growth while staying close to the ocean and the climbing crags. Living in Collaroy, I’ve embraced the local community and I’m eager to help students in the area not only pass their exams but truly develop a love for Science and Mathematics.

A Scientific Approach to Learning
My teaching methodology is highly personalized, adapting to each student's pace and goals. Whether we are having an engaging introductory conversation or an intensive, information-packed session, my focus is on clarity and engagement. I believe that curiosity is key; I encourage my students to question everything so we can learn together.
Making the Complex Simple
One of the most efficient tools I’ve found for mastering complex concepts—from Molecular Biology to Newtonian Physics—is the use of analogies. I specialize in finding "symbologies" in everyday life, making abstract theories relatable and easier to understand.
Professional Background
With over 5 years of experience teaching all ages and levels, I bring a high level of pedagogical expertise to every lesson. For 3 of those years, I served as the Head Teacher of Physics and Mathematics in a bilingual school, where I developed curriculum-aligned strategies to help students excel in challenging academic environments.
