About Aaron
Hi, I’m Aaron, a native Chinese speaker currently completing my postgraduate studies in Australia. Living and studying in an international environment has given me a strong understanding of the challenges English speakers face when learning Chinese, especially with tones, sentence structure, and cultural nuances.
I am passionate about teaching because I see language as a bridge that connects opportunities, cultures, and people. As someone with an academic background in finance and experience communicating across different cultures, I value clarity, structure, and logical thinking in my lessons. Students often describe me as patient, approachable, and detail-oriented.

As a native Chinese speaker and postgraduate student, I design my lessons to be practical, structured, and engaging. My teaching philosophy is simple: language is a tool for real communication, not just memorizing vocabulary. I focus on building a strong foundation in pronunciation (especially tones), sentence structure, and everyday expressions, while gradually introducing cultural context to make learning more meaningful.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes three parts: warm-up conversation or review, focused learning of new content (grammar, vocabulary, or speaking practice), and interactive application through role-plays, real-life scenarios, or short discussions. For beginners, I emphasize pinyin accuracy and confidence in speaking. For intermediate and advanced students, I focus on fluency, natural expression, and deeper cultural understanding.
I adapt every lesson to the student’s goals—whether it’s academic Chinese, business communication, HSK preparation, or conversational skills. My classes are suitable for teenagers and adults at all levels. I aim to create a relaxed but disciplined learning environment where students feel challenged, supported, and motivated to improve consistently.
