About Maelie
With over 5 years of teaching experience and more than 920 students successfully trained, I have helped learners of different ages and backgrounds achieve meaningful progress in guitar performance and musicianship. My experience includes beginners, hobby musicians, performance enthusiasts, and learners preparing for examinations and auditions.
Many former students have developed strong technical abilities, performed confidently at events, created original music, improved improvisation skills, and achieved personal musical goals. Several have progressed into advanced learning pathways and continued developing their musical careers.
My mission is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can build confidence, creativity, and technical excellence while enjoying every stage of their musical journey.

My guitar lessons are designed to help learners develop practical performance skills while building strong musical foundations. Training includes acoustic guitar, electric guitar, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, chord development, scales, improvisation, fingerstyle techniques, songwriting, ear training, music theory, and performance preparation. Lessons are structured according to each learner’s goals, ensuring steady improvement while maintaining enthusiasm and motivation.
Students participate in technique-building exercises, rhythm workshops, improvisation challenges, songwriting projects, listening analysis activities, song interpretation sessions, and guided practice planning. Lessons encourage active participation and independent thinking, helping learners understand how music works rather than simply memorizing patterns and songs.
Advanced learners focus on solo construction, advanced improvisation, recording preparation, live performance techniques, fingerstyle mastery, collaborative musicianship, repertoire development, and creative composition. This comprehensive approach helps students become confident and versatile guitarists capable of performing across different musical styles.
