Looking to learn Portuguese in a practical, engaging, and personalized way?
Here’s how I can help you achieve your goals:
Teaching Method
I use the communicative approach, which means you’ll start speaking Portuguese from the very first lesson. My focus is on real-life communication, ensuring you build confidence in using the language naturally and effectively.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Our first step will be a conversation to understand your goals, interests, and specific needs. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, I’ll create a customized plan tailored to your pace.
• Beginners: We’ll start with essential vocabulary, basic conversations, and building a strong foundation in grammar—all while speaking as much as possible.
• Intermediate/Advanced Learners: After an evaluation of your current skills, we’ll focus on strengthening areas like pronunciation, writing, or professional communication, ensuring no previous knowledge is wasted.
Lessons often include dialogues, role-playing, listening exercises, and cultural insights to make learning dynamic and enjoyable.
What Sets Me Apart
With over 20 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Portuguese and English, I bring expertise and adaptability to every lesson. My classes are designed to foster trust and confidence, creating a supportive environment where learning feels natural.
As a former businesswoman in Brazil, I’m particularly skilled in teaching Portuguese for professional purposes, helping you navigate business conversations, presentations, and industry-specific vocabulary with ease.
Who Are the Lessons For?
I offer lessons for:
• Kids and teenagers, providing a fun and engaging introduction to the language.
• Adults, whether you’re learning for travel, personal enrichment, or to connect with Portuguese-speaking family and friends.
• Professionals, needing Portuguese for work or business purposes.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to polish your skills, my classes are here to meet your needs and help you achieve your goals effectively.
Let’s start this journey together!
