I am a psychotherapist primarily working with young, non-verbal autistic children who struggle to play, communicate and regulate themselves. These sessions usually take place alongside a parent who has the chance to focus, uninterrupted, on understanding and developing their relationship with their child, alongside a practitioner.
I work therapeutically with all SEN children (autism, ADHD, global delay, speech delay, behavioural difficulties) on their journey towards accessing education under the same principles.
If your child has been excluded from primary school we can discuss the possibility of therapeutic tutoring.
Which subject(s) do I teach?
I work therapeutically though play or educational sessions with children 0-12 years old to address the processes that make speech, writing or socialising difficult.
It is not the educational content, but the underlying relationship with speaking, writing and socialising which I help children to explore, either through play or through educational sessions.

What are my qualifications?
I qualified to practice as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in 2016.
I worked with children under supervision throughout my five-year psychotherapy training and beyond. I am a founder member of the Maison Verte UK and The Green House Playgroup.
How much do I charge?
£30 per hour.
Where do I teach?
At my studio room in St Paul's Adventure Playground, Bristol.
When am I available?
Please get in touch and we can find a mutually agreed time for the sessions. I understand that timing can be important, especially for younger children who may be more engaged at certain times of the day.
Which ages and levels do I teach?
I work with young, non-verbal children from 0-5 years old. I also work with primary school aged children (5-11) with a range of special needs, including children on the autism spectrum, with ADHD, global delay and children with behavioural difficulties or who have been excluded from primary school.
