I understand that physics and chemistry can be intimidating for many students. My approach uses empathy, encouragement, and appropriate challenge to create a safe space for students to be curious and make mistakes without shame or judgement.

Every student is unique, and tutoring must reflect that to be effective. I work to identify the concepts a student already has mastered and focus on those that need extra support.

I use evidence-based strategies and structures proven to improve understanding and retention. A typical session starts with a short review of previous material and a warmup, focusing on foundational concepts that build to the session's main topic. Next, I teach the main topic while gauging understanding using example problems and open-ended questions. We then move to guided practice; I gradually step back to let the student work independently, addressing any misunderstandings and highlighting success. Finally, I reiterate key points and recommend concepts for independent study.
