About Maja
Hi I'm Maja! I am a Psychology student at the University of Reading with a strong interest in English and helping others to succeed. I focus on essay writing, academic skills, and supporting students with university applications. My background in psychology helps me understand different learning styles, so I adapt my teaching to suit each student. I aim to create a supportive environment where I can help you build your confidence and improve academically. I am reliable, organised, and committed to helping students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

My tutoring approach is supportive, structured and tailored to each student. As a Psychology student, I understand different learning styles and adapt my teaching to suit each individual, helping build both skills and confidence. In English lessons, I will focus on grammar, improving vocabulary, and especially essay writing and academic skills. I break down concepts clearly and use practice and feedback to support progress. I also help students with university applications, including personal statements. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and include explanation, practice and feedback. I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Reading and bring strong communication and organisation skills to my teaching. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-level students, as well as those preparing for university applications.
