About Gary
I recently stepped away from a 25+ year career in senior operations and transformation leadership — most recently building and running a 200-person business services team at a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company — and I'm using this next chapter to focus on something I've always found energizing: coaching and mentoring.
Throughout my career, some of the most rewarding moments weren't the big transformations themselves, but the one-on-one conversations — helping a young professional see a problem more clearly, build confidence, or find their own way through something that felt overwhelming. Tutoring feels like a natural extension of that. I bring the same patience and curiosity to a session that I brought to mentoring early-career team members for three decades: no judgment, no assuming what you already know, just working through it together until it clicks.

I spent 25+ years in senior operations and leadership roles at large organizations, including building and running a 200-person business services team at a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. I'm now tutoring part-time, and I love helping students translate real-world business thinking into something clear and usable — whether that's for a class, a certification, or just building confidence with the material.
