About Syeda
My name is Syeda and I'm a college student majoring in business. I enjoy teaching and helping other kids out with their reading and writing concerns and love witnessing first-hand the positive change and improvement in both their work and attitudes. I aim to build confidence in my students and to allow them to explore and correct their mistakes in a caring and non-judgmental enviornment. I wish to create a setting in which I am able to make valuable and insightful observations about my students and in which the kids feel completely safe and comfortable with being themselves.

I will teach my students the basics of English grammar, literature and writing styles. I will help them improve on and become better equipped with literary and comprehension skills. A typical lesson plan may include, but is not limited to : reading passages and answering questions on analysis and comprehension; writing practice and improving on skills regarding punctuation, formatting, grammar, etc; and providing them with better understanding of why the English language is laid out the way it is. My lessons would be directed towards kids in elementary-middle school (grades 1-8).
