About Samara
I have tutored math for 4 years. I have taught dozens of students. Some were paid opportunities, but most of the time I volunteered to tutor math at my public library. I tutored all ages of math from kindergarten to 12th grade. I also tutored several students at a time or just one on one.

I structure my lessons around student's questions. I find that if I let them lead me where they're having trouble, I can actually help grow their understanding on the subject. A lot of students aren't taught the why behind math, which is very fundamental to comprehension. Most of the times when students are struggling it isn't the new concept that is inhibiting them. It's an older concept that they need to be reminded of.
