I offer 1 hour sessions in English language and literature tailored to students' needs & interests, with an aim not only to provide students with pragmatic advice to prepare them for exams, but to also be guided by their own interests and foster their passion for the subject.
Sessions can include working with unseen passages or poems to hone students' analytical skills, detailed feedback on essays, coursework, or creative writing assignments, and help through the process of university applications, personal statements, and interviews.

I have worked alongside Sam at university and can wholeheartedly recommend being tutored by him. He is a hardworking, dedicated and efficient student and this translates into his work as a teacher. Deadlines are always met and work is always thoroughly reviewed and edited before submission, resulting in great outcomes and a well-deserved first class degree.
