I’m passionate about learning and love helping students discover the joy of mastering new concepts! I encourage curiosity and always welcome questions, as I believe that true understanding comes from exploring connections between what students already know and new ideas. My goal is to guide students through the process of grappling with complex topics and then experiencing the satisfaction of truly grasping them. I take pride in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels motivated and capable of success. About the lesson

Maths can be challenging, but the sense of achievement when you succeed is worth it! My approach combines patience, humour, and enthusiasm to help students build confidence and develop a genuine interest in problem-solving. I make sure to tailor each lesson to the right level, so students stay motivated and can see their progress. I use proven methods to help students overcome maths challenges by making sure they understand how each topic connects to what they already know. If there's a gap in understanding, we revisit earlier steps, so the foundation is strong. I also use real-life analogies to make abstract concepts more relatable and practical. With regular interleaved practice, I ensure that students retain and apply new knowledge effectively. Whether you're studying KS2 or preparing for A-levels, I help you link what you've learned with what’s coming next, making sure everything builds smoothly. Plus, I always assign homework to reinforce each session’s learning!
